Dennis Fountain is not an award-winning journalist, best-selling author, or cable network regular. He’s just your average red blooded American, with honest values and strong work ethics, who dreamed of being an astronaut and radio DJ as a child.
After high school Dennis attended Western New England College, majoring in general business, before he dipped his toe into radio at the Connecticut School of Broadcasting, where he realized broadcasting was what he really wanted to do with his life. Of course, life never works out as planned and Dennis worked many jobs, with his primary years being a cobbler, that’s right they do exist. After 20 years in the cobbler business Dennis retired and turned to computers; opening his own store where he would build and repair them. Somehow “fixing things” seemed to be in his genes. He moved on to managing two different movie theaters for nearly 10 years. Thru out this time Dennis also spent four years as on air talent and engineer at radio station WARE in Massachusetts. He’s also been a mobile disc jockey and master of ceremonies for over 30 years.
Dennis also managed to fit volunteerism into his busy schedule. He’s been a member of Lions Clubs International since he was 18 years old, rising to the ranks of state governor in 2007. He’s also been a Girl Scout Leader for over 15 years, as well as Chairman of his town’s Zoning Board of Appeals. Giving back has always been a cornerstone of his life.
He has a passion for science fiction, especially related to Star Trek and Stargate. He’s attended countless conventions, and yes, even cosplay has been known to creep into his life (insert picture here)! You should ask him about all the junk, eh I mean collectables he has!
Dennis has also been somewhat vocal in his beliefs and views. He’s never been too shy to tell you what he feels and believes, so starting and broadcasting a podcast comes extremely natural to him. His years of radio, DJ, and love of entertainment puts him in the forefront of this industry.
In 1992, a crack commando unit was sent to prison by a military court for a crime they didn't commit. This unit was led by Sonny "Hannibal" Raine. These men promptly escaped from a maximum security stockade to the American underground. For years they remained wanted by the government and survived as soldiers of fortune. If you had a problem, if no one else could help, and if you could find him, then maybe you could have hired Sonny Raine.
Today, after a lengthy investigation by the Trump Administration, with the help of some key Russian hackers, Sonny and his entire unit have been found innocent and a Presidential Pardon has been issued. Sonny, however, has chosen to remain in the Witness Protection Program to reach his final frontier, seeking out new life and new civilations, boldy going where no witsec has gone before.
